Service Changes due to COVID-19

Fines Free Checkouts

The library will be fines free through the end of December. This means that no fines will be charged for overdue items during this time. Items will still be billed if they are over 2 weeks overdue.

Payment Options

The library is not handling cash at this time. Patrons can make payments by credit card through the online catalog.

Material Quarantine

All items that are received by the library is required to go through a manditory 7-day quarantine. This affects both materials that are being returned, and materials arriving at the library from other libraries (Interlibrary Loan). This means that items will remain on your account up to 10 days after you return them to the library. If you have returned materials and they are still on your account after 10 days please call us so we can look into it. This also means that items that you have requested from other libraries will take an additional week to arrive at the library due to quarantining.

Wireless Printing for Curbside Pick-Up

While computer access is not available with the building closed, you can still request up to 10 pages of black & white prints for FREE for curbside pick-up. Just send your prints from your device via our Wireless Printing page, then come to the library and call the Adult Services Desk (708-481-5333 x5) and let them know what username you printed under and then we will print them and bring them out to you.
