Level Up at Your Library this summer!

It’s time to Level Up at Your Library this summer with the Richton Park Public Library!

From May 31st to August 5th, we challenge you to read every day!

How to Participate:

• Sign up for Summer Reading starting May 31st at our Kick-Off Event (11am-1pm)!
  • You can sign up in person at the Youth or Adult Services Desk
  • Sign-up bags are available while supplies last.
• Read everyday!
  • Initial a box for every day that you read (Parents/Guardians should initial for young children)
    • You can check up to 60 boxes between May 31st and August 5th
  • Bring your reading log when you come to the library and get rewarded for reading!
    • Youth & Teens can start reading log check-ins on July 1, 2025
    • Adults & Seniors can start reading log check-ins on June 1, 2025
  • Kids & Teens who read 30 days will be invited to an End of Summer Party!
  • Last day to check-in logs is August 5, 2025.
• Earn Tickets!
  • You get 1 raffle ticket for every day read (up to 60 days)
  • Raffle prizes for each age group are on display in the hallway as you enter
  • Kids & Teens earn bonus scratch-off tickets for their first reading log check & for attending programs

Who can Participate?

Everyone! Our program is open to all ages, you do not need a library card to participate, and you don’t have to live in Richton Park! If you can get to the library, you can sign up!
